TY Fashion Show St Aidan’s Cootehill
A wave of glamour and glitz descended on Cootehill on Thursday May 1st as the Transition Year students in St. Aidan’s Comprehensive hosted a Fashion show in the school to a packed hall. Preparations started in January and 46 students were involved in total building the stage, planning the clothes, hair and make-up and preparing the music to be played at the show. Twenty one students, both boys and girls, from Transition Year and members of the teaching staff showcased the clothes available in local businesses. The latest summer range of clothes and many leading brands were on show from businesses from Cootehill including E & M’s, Lennon’s, and Dazzling Divas. The latter showcased a range of Debs dresses which stunned the packed hall and the dresses were complemented by beautiful pieces from Shira Designer Jewellery. From Cavan town DT1, Daisy Dukes and Sara showed their latest brands. Mc Donagh shoes provided some of the footwear on the night. It was an exciting night for all those involved in the preparations and who took part of the night. The models looked stunning and professional and there was an extra special performance from a dance troop to start off the show. The Winners of the Regional final of Stars in Yer Eyes The Ironic perfomed during the interval. For those into fashion and for those who just wanted to look at the spectacle - it was a great night out.
