Transition Year Trip to Tanagh
This years Transition Year Group set out on Tuesday morning the 2nd September on a team building mission to Tanagh Outdoor activity Centre. Even though the weather was dreadful the student set out from the school with good humour. The purpose of the day was to allow the students to mix with each other outside of the classroom environment. The group was also working on team building and learning how important it is to work together with a common goal in sight. It is hoped that the many skills they learnt will help them cope with the many challenges which they face in the year ahead. Apart from the skills learnt, there was also a lot of fun to be had, especially during one particular activity which resulted in many of the students being covered from head to toe in muck and water. We think that the photos below will give a sense of what went on during the day.
