TY Fashion show 2010
On Tuesday 16th March, the Transition Year students held a hugely successful Fashion Show in the school. A packed audience watched 55 models showcase 160 outfits from local shops in Cootehill.
Clothes were supplied by Lennon’s Drapers, E&M Stores, Miss Diva, The Bridal Loft, Kazoo Kids & Dazzling Diva’s. Footwear came from Mc Donagh Shoes while jewellery from Shira Jewellery Design provided the finishing touches.
The multi-talented TY students also entertained the crowd on the night. Craig Mc Comish opened the show with a Billie Jean dance routine. Craig also led a dance troupe in their performance of Michael Jackson’s Thriller at the interval.
15 staff members took to the catwalk, much to the delight of the audience. The Senior Boys Basketball team did a well deserved lap of honour after reaching the All Ireland Semi Final this year. However, the real stars of the show were the young children modelling clothes from Kazoo kids! They definitely taught everyone a thing or two!!
The TY students and the co-ordinating teachers, Ms J. Sweeney, Ms E. Derrick & Ms E. McCabe, would like to sincerely thank the local businesses in Cootehill & all those who helped ensure that the night was a success!!
