Ty Induction
As part of their initial induction, the TY’s engaged in some exciting activities such as a low budget Fashion Show! Students were presented with a black plastic bag, scissors, tin foil, coloured paper and toilet roll!....with which they had the exciting task of designing, making, presenting and evaluating an item of clothing suitable for the cat walk! This activity was thoroughly enjoyed by all students and it embraced everything that Transition Year promotes .......team work, co-operation, maturity and resourcefulness among students....right from day one!
