Gaeltacht 2018 (10 – 12th September 2018)  Coláiste Acla

On September 10th 42 students and their teachers Ms. Scanlon and Ms. Ní Bhaoill travelled west to Achill Island County Mayo for a two night adventure trip in the Gaeltacht. While the weather was not too kind to us on day one it improved from there on. The students were entertained by a number of sporting events such as archery, cliff diving, surfing, rock climbing, bog obstacle courses, scenic walks along the cliffs and some céilí dancing. We also got involved in team tasks. The Bean an Tí provided us with some tasty meals during our stay. It was a lovely experience to use Irish in a fun way and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the West of Ireland.
